Welcome to my Walk, Paddle and Roll fundraising page. 

I am running 8 miles (the farthest I have ever run!) around Mackinac Island on September 11 to support Freshwater Future's Campaign to prevent the Asian carp from establishing in the Great Lakes.   

I know you have heard about these giant fish that are nearing Lake Michigan.  If these fish get into our Great Lakes it will change the ecology of the lakes forever.

Some of my fondest memories as a kid are of swimming in the Great Lakes--playing in the waves, building sand castles, paddling on paddle boards (remember those?).

When I am running, I'll be thinking how if we work together and take action NOW we can prevent the Asian carp from establishing in our lakes, protecting our Great Lakes for many more generations.
