Welcome to Casa Myrna!

Since 1977, Casa Myrna, a Boston-based nonprofit, has been dedicated to ending domestic violence in homes, families, and communities. The organization provides safe shelter to women and their children who have fled from abusive and dangerous situations and offers a range of comprehensive supportive services, including legal advocacy, housing search assistance, individual counseling and support groups, and financial literacy. Casa Myrna's supportive services aim to empower survivors of domestic violence to regain their self-sufficiency as they move forward with rebuilding healthier and happier lives.

Additionally, Casa Myrna operates SafeLink (1-877-785-2020), the statewide toll-free domestic violence hotline. In the areas of prevention and outreach, Casa Myrna offers education about the issue of domestic violence in a variety of community settings, ranging from schools and universities to workplaces. In addition, the organization runs annual statewide public awareness campaigns about the issue of domestic violence on mass transit.

2010 marks a major milestone for SafeLink: our statewide domestic violenc hotline celebrates its 10th year anniversary. In commemoration of this significant milestone, Team SafeLink is running the 2010 Boston Marathon.
