Dear friends and family,

Many of you may remember my beloved German Shepherd dog Lady.  She was with me for over 13 years until I had to say goodbye to her in May 2005.  She struggled her last year to be with me for 8 months after the passing of my dad.  I know Lady stayed with me so I would not be alone and knew that I would be okay.  She then let me know it was her time to go.  My heart was broken and empty for 2 more years.

A miracle then happened.  I felt Lady telling me to open my heart and let another dog in.  I was guided to the GSRNE and the rest is history.  The amazing volunteers of GSRNE introduced me to Rocket.  I instantly fell in love with the "Loooooooove Puppy".

My heart is full again and everyday is a blessing with this wondrous dog.
