Original message: 
By now you already know about the situation in Haiti.  The first 72 hours of response to a disaster like this are critical. While many of us would be willing to drop everything and fly to Haiti tomorrow, relief agencies are in need of cash, and quickly.   This where the Fletcher community can make a big impact. 

Over the next 72 hours we would like to raise $1000 for Doctors Without Borders (MSF).   MSF is already deployed on the ground providing much needed medical support and has made a public appeal for cash donations.   While many of you may have donated individually, this is a great way to for us to pool our resources and donate collectively.  Please consider donating as much as you can spare (although even $5 helps) to this cause and show our support for the people of Haiti.
