Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Due to critical lack of funding, Piedmont Wildlife Center is closing its wildlife hospital on July 7, 2009. Education programs will still continue so we can raise awareness about the impact humans have on our native wildlife. Houdini, the screech owl pictured here, visits groups and lives at our education center at Leigh Farm Park in Durham. Houdini helps me to spread the word about wildlife and why it's so important for all of us to protect and conserve wildlife and its habitat.
Like other non-profits during this time of economic hardship, we need your support now more than ever! Please help me raise $5,000 by December 31, 2009 to support our wildlife education efforts. We are working hard on a plan to reopen the wildlife hospital in the future and your support is greatly appreciated!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thanks!
Gail :-)
