The Wags-n-Whiskers Walk in a wonderful way to support GH and help safe a life- four paws at a time! The walk is on Sunday, May 2nd in charming downtown Montrose and joins the weekly Family Harvest Market and the annual Kids N Kritters event. Come enjoy food, vendors, dog contests and demonstrations, rescue groups and much, much more. Lace up your sneakers and come strut your mutt! Busy on May 2nd or don’t have a dog? Walk in honor or memory of a pet or join us as a “virtual walker”.
Your participation in the Wags-n-Whiskers Walk will raise funds to help GH cover the costs of medical care, food, enrichment and training for the more than 1,200 dogs and cats we rescue every year. Last year's event helped us raise more than $20,000!

Registration is free.
Raise $100 on behalf of GH to receive an official walk t-shirt. The top 3 fundraisers will receive great prizes like a stay at a gorgeous lakefront condo in Big Bear, dinner for six from chef Piper Wood or a $100 gift certificate to Andersen's Pet Shop. All participating dogs get a goodie bag and doggie t-shirt!
Getting started is easy. It takes just a minute to create your own, personalized fundraising page that you can email to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to help raise funds for the animals at GH. You can also donate to an individual or team.
