On April 26th, 2009 my wife and I volunteered for a Disability Professional Network event (of Merrill Lynch) at the Jacksonville Zoo, Florida - forming a unified voice for Autism awareness. We choose to volunteer to help at this field event and also created our personal webpage to raise money for HEAL Foundation Inc.  "The funds raised from the HEAL First Coast Zoo Walk for Autism will go to local programs and educators here on the First Coast."

What is Autism? "Autism is a brain development disorder characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old. The autism spectrum disorders (ASD) also include related conditions such as Asperger syndrome that have milder signs and symptoms."
