Hello! Thank you for visiting. As many of you know I believe that we will find a cure for my challenge, Sickle Cell Disease. I have decided to become a motivational speaker educating others on Sickle Cell Ideas, my personal successes, and how they too can become involved.
I am passionate about what I am doing. As a result I spend my volunteer time with the Community Sickle Cell Support Group Inc. (CSCSG, Inc.) located in Roxbury, MA. I know personally that they provide support services like support group meetings, taxi vouchers, juice vouchers, and a music therapy program to patients and their families with Sickle Cell Disease. They also help parents keep their children on track with their education. They help families enjoy life!
On Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 9AM, the CSCSG, Inc is having a 5 mile walk-a-thon to raise funds to support Sickle Cell Disease research, and the programs of the CSCSG, Inc. I will be walking to support those who suffer with sickle cell such as myself and those who are unable to be a part of the walk.
