“One Home Many Hopes” is a loving home for 32 orphaned and abandoned girls in Mtwapa, Kenya – co-founded by one of my favorite people in the whole world, Lydia Bradley!!!!

Known in Kenya as “Mudzini Kwetu”, OHMH finds, rescues, houses, loves and educates former street children and equips them to be the future agents of change in their community.

While Mudzini Kwetu’s current surroundings are adequate, they need a better home to ensure the well-being of the other girls who will need Mudzini Kwetu someday soon.

One Home Many Hopes is raising a generation of children who will be the lawyers and teachers and doctors and nurses and journalists that will build the schools and dig the wells and construct the toilets so the next generation of children does not suffer as they did.

Because of your contribution to our team’s target of $2,500, we are going to build this home for 32 orphaned and abandoned girls in Kenya between October 19 and November 20.  Yes, the home is being built NOW, because OHMH believes in our ability to raise the money and these girls have waited long enough.

By donating, you will be part of a movement of lots of little teams like mine in the U.K. and the U.S., all trying to raise $70,000 in 30 days to provide these beautiful ladies who have endured so much with a home they will love so much. And you’re providing the chance to help other children avoid the pain they suffered.

Not along ago, these children were scared and alone and in the streets and abandoned to die or worse. Some of them were beaten or raped or forced to be married or saw their parents die. One Home Many Hopes has helped rescue and house and love and educate them.

They are now one family of sisters and with this ‘Breaking Ground’ campaign, we are going to build them a home. If you can help me reach my target of $2,500.  $50 or $20 buys a lot of bricks in Kenya.
