Our summer long fundraising event is off to a fun start. The beautiful paddle day on Lake Independence was as much fun as it was a success, and we're looking forward to the 'Walk" portion of the campaign,  "Wilderness Orientering" which will be held in Big Bay, MI on Sunday, July 12. Sponsor the SWUP team in the Wilderness Orienteering Hike around the highlands of northern Marquette County. It should be a warm (and buggy) experience based on skill building and practical experience, utilizing a basic compass and topographic map.
