Hello,
As most of you know, I am passionate about triathlon and I truly enjoy testing my own limits in endurance athletics. I also feel strongly that as a Christian I am called to follow the example of Jesus and work to feed the hungry and heal the sick. To combine my hobby with my convictions, I am partnering with Team World Vision to help provide clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities for children, families and communites in Africa. You can find out more about World Vision here.
I will be racing at the 2009 U.S. Open Triathlon on October 11 in Dallas, TX. The U.S. Open Triathlon is an Olympic Distance Triathon composed of a 1.5K swim, 40K Bike and 10K run for a total of 32 miles of racing. Please consider pledging 1 dollar per mile for a $32 one-time tax-deductible donation, 2 dollars per mile for a $64 donation or 3 dollars per mile for a $96 donation. I hope you'll consider joining me to help those in need.
